Alia Bhatt is back, and this time, she is here to pack a punch with Alpha. The makers of Alpha dropped the teaser today, and it has only increased anticipation. The teaser mainly revolves around Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol, who play a father-daughter duo.
The upcoming Yash Raj Films Spy Universe adds two fierce spies to its arsenal - Alia and Sharvari - marking a story of a secret agent who is on a dangerous mission.
The teaser starts with a sweet celebration of the actress`s 18th birthday but takes a sharp left turn when her father reveals the gift.

The video starts with what looks like a sweet father-daughter dinner celebrating the latter`s 18th birthday. However, tables turn as Deol reveals the gift he has for Bhatt - a room key.
He asks her to carry out her first task as a spy. Being trained under Bobby Deol from her childhood, Alia Bhatt comes all guns blazing as she fights some menacing enemies.
The teaser then dives into Alia`s rigorous training of becoming a wolf. Her father even goes on to etch a tattoo that symbolizes `Alpha` - a secret program to make India`s next-gen spies.
The teaser ends with a proud father wishing his daughter as she completes her first task of the mission. A drawing on the wall introduces Bobby and Alia as ‘Baba’ and `Sita.`
While Sharvari and Anil Kapoor were missing from the teaser, fans hope to see them in all action mode in the next clip.

Helmed by Shiv Rawail and backed by Aditya Chopra, the movie sees Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, Sharvari, and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles.
Alpha is the most-awaited addition to YRF`s Spy Universe, which comprises movies like Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2023), Tiger 3 (2023), and War 2 (2025).
Sharing her excitement about playing a spy, Alia said, “I think what made me say ‘yes’ was, number one, it’s a genre that I’m betting on and one that has not been accepted in the past, in India at least. So, I wanted to understand: why has it not been accepted wholeheartedly in the past?” She also stated that there have been female action characters in films driven by men, but never a story where the female takes the lead and the film has clicked."
Alpha will see a theatrical release on July 3.
