Ahead of their pre-wedding ceremonies in Janmanagr, Gujarat, Anant Ambani gets candid like never before. The youngest heir of Reliance Industries opened up about the bond he shares with his siblings, Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani, the pressures of belonging to the Ambani clan, and more.

In an interview with India Today's news director, Rahul Kanwal, Anant Ambani gave an insight into the family dynamics, his relationship with his father, Mukesh Ambani, and the weight of the legacy he bears on his shoulders.

The groom-to-be will soon tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Radhika Merchant. Their pre-wedding ceremonies will kick off next week in their home town, Jamnagar. From global leaders to prominent Indian celebrities, it is going to be yet another star-studded event for the Ambanis.

The business tycoon revealed there is no competition between him and his siblings. In fact, he considers both Isha Ambani and Akash Ambani his guiding lights and advisors.

Quoting a mythological metaphor reference, Anant said, "There's no competition between us they are like my advisors. I call myself their Hanuman, as I would like to follow their advice all my life."


When asked about the fallout between the brothers Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani, the groom-to-be said he would not face the same fate as there is immense love between the three siblings.

"They are both older than me. I am their Hanuman, my brother is my Ram, and my sister is like a mother figure to me. They have both always protected me. We have no differences or competition between us. We are stuck together by Feviquick," Anant laughed it out.

The youngest Ambani also opened up about the equation he shares with his father and business giant, Mukesh Ambani. Anant described him more as a friend than a rigid and stereotypical father figure.

"He is not strict at all. Like any traditional Gujarati family, we have a lot of respect for him. I could manage to build all this only because of his support," he added.

The groom-to-be also opened up about the weight he carries on his shoulders as a member of one of the most powerful and influential families in India.

"No pressure at all. Whatever I do, it will come from my heart, and whatever God wills will eventually happen. You cannot plan your destiny. I just follow my father's vision, as that would only help me grow," Anant said.
