With Bigg Boss 16 coming closer to its release on ColorsTV, there have been many speculations about Salman Khan and his fees for the reality show. While there have been many figures attached to it, the latest rumors were he charges a whopping Rs. 1,000 crores to host a season. Salman finally broke his silence and opened up like never before.
Clarifying all the rumors, Salman Khan said, “If I got this amount (₹1000 crore), then I wouldn`t work in my life. I mean it. It`s not even one-fourth of it. But, even if I got it, I have too many expenses like lawyer fees, my lawyers fees are very high. So, there`s that. And what y`all don`t realize when the media and fan clubs circulate these stories is that the income tax also notices all this and then questions can be raised on me.”
What do you think Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss fees must be? We’re guessing at least Rs.1-2 crores per episode.
Salman Khan addresses rumors of not hosting Bigg Boss 16
Well, this one quite literally broke the internet and many Bhai fans were upset. However, on his recent interaction on the launch event of the TV show with ex-Bigg Boss contestant Gauhar Khan, Salman responded, “I get irritated and tell them, I`m not doing it (hosting Bigg Boss). But, they (the channel) don`t have anybody else, so they have to come to me. Otherwise, if they had an option, they`d never come to me. I`d never go to myself for these things. So, I don`t blame them when these articles circulate.”
