This marks the Jannat Rustom actress's maiden appearance at the arguably biggest film festival in the world.
The actress is attending the film festival as a part of the Indian government delegation. She also participated in and attended the opening ceremony of and the premiere of Jeanne Du Barry, the movie that opened at Cannes 2023. It also marks Hollywood actor Johnny Depp's big comeback after his controversial divorce from Amber Heard.
