Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap makes shocking claims about Salman Khan
Salman Khan has yet again become controversy`s favourite child after Dabangg director, Abhinav Kashyap, made some shocking claims about the actor and his family. For the uninitiated, Kashyap directed Khan in Dabangg`s first instalment.
The filmmaker had a major fallout with the actor and his family in 2010 when Dabangg saw a theatrical release. The film also marked Sonakshi Sinha`s Bollywood debut.
Now, as the film completes 15 years of its release, Abhinav has once again lashed out at Salman, calling him a `gunda` (goon) and revealing that he is not interested in acting.
Abhinav Kashyap-Salman Khan controversy
The director sat down with Screen for a candid chat and lashed out at the Dabangg actor for not being interested in acting and not taking his profession seriously.
He said, "Salman is never involved. He is not even interested in acting, and he hasn’t been for the last 25 years. He does a favour by turning up to work. He is more into the power of being a celebrity, but he is not interested in acting. He is a gunda (goon). I was not aware of this before Dabangg. Salman badtameez hai, ganda insaan hai (Salman is ill-mannered; he is a bad person)."

For those who are unaware, Abhinav Kashyap is the brother of Gangs of Wasseypur director, Anurag Kashyap. He further called Salman the "father of the star system in Bollywood".
"He is from a film family which has been in the industry for 50 years. He continues the process. They are vindictive people. They control the whole process. If you don’t agree with them, they come after you," Kashyap added.

When asked if Anurag guided him, Abhinav said, "How would he guide or advise me? He told me before Dabangg that you won’t be able to make a film with Salman. He just didn’t explain in great detail why I won’t be able to make a movie with him. He just thought I’d get easily bullied; he knows these vultures."
"Anurag left the film eventually. He wrote the script of Tere Naam. Boney Kapoor misbehaved with him, then he left it. They didn’t give him credit either. The exact same thing happened with me. The basis of any good film is a good script," he revealed.
Apart from Dabangg, Anurag`s other notable films include Besharam, Jung, Paanch, and Yuva.
