Bollywood actresses are always in the limelight, especially when it comes to their personal lives. One of those stars who has taken the internet by storm ever since she announced her pregnancy, Deepika Padukone, continues to treat her fans with adorable pictures of her baby bump.
The actress will next be seen in Kalki, 2898 AD. The Nag Ashwin directorial also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. The cast of the upcoming period drama got together for an event to promote the movie.
At the event, Deepika Padukone opened up about playing a mother on-screen in the film. She also had a fun conversation with Rana Daggubati, who hosted the event.
She looked absolutely gorgeous in a black dress and was all smiles for the camera. She made a stunning appearance at the Kalki 2898 AD event that was held in Mumbai on Thursday.

During the event, Daggubati teased Padukone as he jokingly asked if she was still in her character. For the uninitiated, the actress plays the role of a pregnant woman in Nag Ashwin`s upcoming period drama.
Deepika laughed and replied, “The movie went on for about three years. So I was like, why not? Just three months more."
When asked about her experience working in Kalki 2898 AD, the mommy-to-be said, “It was an incredible experience, a great learning experience. We went through different phases, discovering what the film was about.”
She was joined on stage by her co-stars, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan. Big B plays the role of Ashwatthama in the film. Kalki will see a theatrical release on June 27.
This is the first time Deepika has openly revealed her pregnancy since she and Ranveer Singh announced the great news.
In one of the pictures, the mom-to-be was seen caressing her baby bump as she donned a stunning black dress with a messy ponytail. Captioning the photo, she wrote, “Okay enough... Now I’m hungry!”
Deepika Padukone is due in September 2024.
