Starring Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan in the lead, the much-awaited film saw a theatrical release on September 27. The film marks the Telugu actor`s first solo in six years.Devara opened up to an impressive review, thanks to the Jr. NTR`s spectacular performance that was loved by the fans. However, what left them disappointed was the poor VFX used in the actioner.

One social media user expressed her enthusiasm for watching the film. While she hailed the first half, the user expressed her disappointment in poor VFX and a below-average background score.

Devara has taken over the whole nation by storm, one of the reasons being Jr. NTR`s fandom from different parts of the country. A fan from Orissa went for the movie on the day of its release and took to the microblogging site, expressing his reviews for Devara.
"JR NTR doesn`t have any strong fandom in Odisha, but the people here know the mass cinematic Marvel of South Cinemas. The crowd was insane here in the theater."
