Rashmika Mandanna, and Nagarjuna coming together for a new Sekhar Kammula film.
The national award-winning director's next movie was launched with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on Thursday. Though the major details like name, storyline, release date, and crew have been kept under wraps, the yet-to-be-titled multi-starrer film has been dubbed #DNS, combining the director's and main actor's initials.

While the makers of #DNS remain tight-lipped about the upcoming project, shooting resumed on Wednesday. Dhanush shot some crucial scenes on his first day. The makers have planned a schedule this month for the rest of the cast as well.

South Indian movie will be produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas. The makers of the film took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a series of pictures from the pooja ceremony.
Dhanush, Sekhar, the producers, and a few others attended and posed for some pictures. Taking it to social media, the caption read, "
A blockbuster voyage that's bound to resonate with the nation! #DNS kicks off with a pooja ceremony, and the shoot begins with a key schedule. More details are on the way."
On the work front
Sekhar Kammula directed Fidaa and Love Story, which were monstrous hits. The fans and audiences are expecting nothing but a blockbuster from the director with DNS.

As for Dhanush, his latest film, Captain Miller, saw a theatrical release in Tamil on January 12 on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. The movie will release in Telugu on January 25.
According to reports, the Raanjhnaa actor is also getting back on track with directing his 50th project, which for now is dubbed #50. The film will star Nithya Menen, SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, among others, in key roles.
On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna is enjoying the best of both worlds after her second Bollywood film, Animal, became one of the biggest blockbusters of 2023. The movie also featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, and Bobby Deol.
