Urvashi Rautela recently got into a controversy with the cricketer Rishabh Pant where the 2 of them were taking indirect digs at each other through social media. This all started when Urvashi Rautela in an interview said, 'Mr. RP waited for her in the lobby of her hotel for hours but she could not meet him.'

In reply to that Rishabh Pant posted a reply on his Instagram story saying, 'It's funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them, Leave me alone.'

In reply to this, Urvashi again posted, 'Chotu bhaiyaa should play bat ball othellip main koi munni nahi hoon badnaam hone..with young kiddo darling tere liye #RAKSHABANDHAN mubarak ho." with hashtags like RP CHOTU BHAIYYA, Cougar Hunter and Don't take advantage of a silent girl" and that's how the war began between them.

Recently in an interview, when asked if she had any message for Pant, the actress said 'she had nothing to say' followed by 'sorry, I'm sorry" with folded hands. Most of them interpreted that she had apologized to Pant but that's not the case.

In her recent Instagram stories, she made it clear that the apology was not for Rishab Pant but was for his fans. In her Instagram story she wrote, 'These days official news articles amp so-called meme pages are more scripted than movies or a TV show. That sorry was for my fans amp loved ones that I had nothing to say' which was followed by a few hashtags like, 'why the news is not the truth, 'false misleading light', 'great script' and 'facts are not copyrightable.

While the apology was not for Rishab Pant but the actress fueled up many trolls with her statement.
