Diljit Dosanjh Flaunts His Met Gala Invite in a Hilarious Post; Watch it Here

The singer-actor is currently in New York City, preparing for his debut at fashion`s most prestigious event tonight, May 5th, 2025. Unlike many celebrities who keep their Met Gala plans top secret, Diljit has refreshingly shared glimpses of his journey (though his outfit remains a surprise!). He recently dropped a video unboxing his official invitation, and it`s as entertaining as you`d expect.
In the clip, filmed in his hotel room, Diljit humorously tells friends they can stop sending him wedding invites now – he`s received the ultimate invitation! He proudly displays the invite`s cover and reads out key details, confirming the event`s theme: `Black Dandyism`. Ever the entertainer, Diljit adds his signature comedic touch throughout the reveal.
Diljit didn`t hold back on sharing some juicy details. He excitedly revealed some of the A-listers he`ll be seated near, name-dropping NBA icon LeBron James and rapper A$AP Rocky. He even gave a nod to the powerhouse behind the event, Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Spotting the "photography prohibited" rule inside, Diljit hilariously quipped in Punjabi, "Can`t make reels". He also noted the invite was strictly for one person. Drawing a funny parallel to Indian wedding traditions, he remarked, "Per person, per plate da hisaab hai (It`s a per person, per plate scenario)."
