Dimple Paul to Navina Bole: 6 Women Who Accused Sajid Khan of Sexual Harassment

The famous personalities of Bollywood have multiple faces; actor and filmmaker Sajid Khan is one of them. For people outside the industry, he is a reputed person, but those who had faced his act of shame know how he is. In 2018, many women came out bravely and shared their #Metoo experience against Sajid Khan. At that time, he was working as a director in Housefull 4. Here are some actresses who have accused Sajid Khan of sexually harassing them:
1. Dimple Paul
Indian model Dimple Paul was just 17 years old when this incident happened to her. She penned a series of posts on her Instagram account speaking about the harassment she faced from Sajid.
She wrote, “When the #MeToo movement started, a lot of people spoke about Sajid Khan, but I did not dare to because, like every other actor who has no godfather and had to earn for a family, I kept quiet. Now I don`t have my parents with me. I`m earning for myself. I can dare to tell you that I was harassed by Sajid Khan at the age of 17.”
She added, “He spoke dirty to me. He tried to touch me. He even told me to strip in front of him just to get a role in his upcoming Housefull movie.”

2. Saloni Chopra
Saloni, who was once Sajid’s assistant director, wrote a blog in which she shared how he tried to harass her, which had a bad impact on her mental health.
She wrote, “He would ask me to touch his dick and get irritated with me when I said I didn’t want to. This one time, during a costume trial for a character in the movie, he came in to see the girl in the outfit and asked her to lift her skirt and show her ass to him. She looked at me confused, and I asked Sajid if it was necessary. She lifted her skirt, and he started insulting her, telling her she didn’t have any breasts or any ass. How did she think she’d become an actress?”

3. Rachel White
After Saloni Chopra, Rachel also raised her voice against her horrible experience of meeting the filmmaker for a role at his home.
"I was in a white vest and blue denims and still felt I was standing nude with that gaze. What happens next is that he finishes his cardio and walks up to me, asking me about my boobs and making that kind of conversation. I didn’t bother to answer anything," wrote Rachel.
"Finally, he goes, Listen, no one has a problem with these things” (and obviously named people), and that if I could seduce him in 5 mins, the role was mine. How this ended was me saying that I didn’t come mentally prepared for this, and I left his house." she added.
4. Aahana Kumra
Aahana Kumra, during an interview with a leading newspaper, shared how Sajid made sexist jokes. She said, "He wanted to chat with me. I told him my mom`s a police officer, which I think made him behave. But he still asked me bizarre questions like, `Would you have sex with a dog if I gave you Rs 100 crore`?"

5. Mandana Karimi
Actress Mandana Karimi revealed in an interview that Khan behaved inappropriately when she visited his office to discuss the role in the film `Humshakals` in 2014.
“I was in talks for Sajid Khan`s Humshakals at the casting stage. My manager and I visited his office. After meeting producer Vashu Bhagnani, I was in a room with Sajid when he said, `Lovely pictures, but you need to remove your clothes. If I like what I see, you might get the part`," said Mandana.
6. Navina Bole
Navina, familiar to viewers from popular shows like `Ishqbaaz` and `Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah`, has brought forward some serious allegations. She recounted an incident dating back to around 2004-2006, following her participation in the Gladrags pageant, when Sajid Khan was casting for his film `Heyy Baby`. Navina shared that Sajid invited her not to his office, but to his home.
During this meeting, Navina alleges Sajid made an inappropriate demand. She recalled, “You know, I was really excited when he called me, and then he literally said, ‘Why don’t you just get off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how comfortable you are.”
She described feeling uncomfortable and finding an excuse to leave, despite Sajid`s alleged persistence. “He said, ‘Why, you wore a bikini on stage, so what is the problem? it’s all ‘Tits and ass’ in his language...’ Somehow I managed to get out of that place, and he must have called me at least 50 times, asking me, Why am I not coming? Where have I reached?"
Navina Bole`s recent testimony adds to this existing history of serious claims against the filmmaker.
