Sidhu Moosewala's parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, as his mother welcomed a baby boy at the age of 58. On this happy occasion, Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan visited the family to extend his congratulatory wishes on Sunday.
The Moosewala family welcomed a baby boy nearly two years after Sidhu Moosewala was killed. He was 28 when he was shot dead at Mansa on May 29, 2022. Along with being an incredibly talented rapper-singer, Sidhu was also active in politics.
The rumors of Charan Kaur
being pregnant sparked after the late singer's parents were constantly away from the limelight. While the news spread like wildfire, Sidhu's father requested that the media and fans give them privacy.
Gurdas Maan visits Sidhu Moosewal's parents as they welcome son
On Sunday, the Rabba singer visited the residence of the late singer to extend congratulations to the family after they welcomed a baby boy. He even spoke to the media briefly.
'Today is a significant day filled with joy. The family is overjoyed. Sidhu Moosewala's parents have found solace in this child's ability to carry on. I pray to God that the parents and the child always remain healthy. Sidhu's fans are also very happy today,' Maan said.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Singh wrote, "With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh's younger brother in our lap. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy, and I'm thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love (folded hands emoji)."
Balkaur Singh on denying pregnancy rumors
Earlier, Sidhu Moosewala's father had rubbished the reports of
his wife's pregnancy at the age of 58. He even requested the late singer's fans not to believe any rumors.
Issuing an official statement on Facebook, Singh wrote, "We are thankful to Sidhu's fans who are concerned about our family. But we plead that there are so many rumors going around about the family that they are not to be believed. Whatever news, the family will share with you all."
Family sources confirm that Sidhu Moosewala's mother, Charan Kaur,
underwent an IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment and was successful in conceiving the baby. They gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday, March 17.
A Tribune report said Kaur's pregnancy was confirmed by Sidhu's uncle, Chamkaur Singh.
Sidhu Moosewala's death
It was on May 29, 2022, that Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in Mansa. He was 28 years old. He was declared dead on arrival at Mansa Civillian Hospital.
