Indian actor Mushtaq Khan dies at 56 after prolonged battle with cancer
In a heart breaking turn of events in Bollywood, the news has come in that the iconic actor Mushtaq Khan (known majorly for the movie “Welcome”) lost the battle to cancer at the age of 56. The actor had been battling cancer for several years and was undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai in the days leading up to his death. His passing was confirmed by his business partner Shivam, as well as representatives from the film industry.
His business partner Shivam confirms the news saying, "He passed away around 7pm on Thursday. He had been detected with lung cancer earlier and had got well. However, it relapsed eight days back and had to be admitted to the hospital. It was last stage cancer."
People remember Mushtaq Khan for his iconic comic timing and his evergreen dialogue, “Meri ek taang nakli hai, main hockey ka bahot bada khiladi tha. Ek din Uday bhai ke liye mere muh se kuch ulta nikal gaya toh Majnu Bhai se meri taang k tukde tukde kar diye. Lekin aadmi acche hain, mujhe hospital le gaye…" and the way his monologue changed every time he heard “Bol Ballu!”

Rajpal Yadav recalls meeting Mushtaq Khan just two hours before his death
Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav recently took to his social media handle to share the time he spent with the late actor. But, majorly he revealed that he met Mushtaq ji on the day he died and he still cannot register the fact that the veteran actor left for his heavenly abode. Sharing all about it, Rajpal Yadav wrote, “This afternoon I went to meet Mushtaq Bhai, talked to him; he saw me, shook my hand and was listening to all our conversations and reacting to them. I still can`t believe that the person I met two hours ago, the person I shook hands with, is no longer among us. We are all bowing down to the decision of the Almighty. Mushtaq Bhai was, is and will always be a popular person and actor and will remain so. I offer you a heartfelt tribute with a heavy heart”.
