Earlier, the global star Priyanka Chopra talked about the Bollywood camps that often dictate casting. As per her having a conversation around value is important so that there are no such camps that can rule casting.
Now, after Priyanka, Taapsee Pannu was asked about her opinion on camps in Bollywood. While she abstained from complaining about someone else`s comments, she had a similar story to bring out to the people. Surprisingly, the actress accepted that Bollywood camps still exist and they have been there for a long time.
In a recent interview with a leading media agency, Taapsee Pannu said, “Yes, Bollywood camps aren’t something that people don’t know about. It’s been there forever. It can be the basis of an actor’s friend circle, a certain agency or group that they’re a part of and people’s loyalties differ based on that.”

However, Taapsee does not have any resentment against Bollywood. Neither she blames the industry for the same. She knows how biased the industry is towards the outsiders and she also believes everyone has the right to choose who they want to work with in films. Taapsee does not mind and says that she can`t blame anyone for thinking about their careers.
She mentioned that she was well aware of how the industry is going to be. She knows the biased and unfair nature that exists here, but she refuses to let it make her a "bitter person."
She was completely ready for getting into this and for her, the outrage of the game is that things will be against her most of the time. “And if after all that, you still decide to be a part of this industry, then it’s your choice and you can’t complain about it later,” said Taapsee.
The Thappad actress further added that camp and favoritism penetrate not just in the film industry, but in every industry except for sports. She stated that people who come to the film with no support or background have to work consistently for years and years. They struggle to keep proving themselves with every film to make a place of their own.
