Apart from the two leading actors, Jigra also stars Manoj Pahwal and Sobhita Dhulipala in prominent roles.Interestingly, the film has also been produced by Alia Bhatt along with Karan Johar`s Dharma Productions. This marks her second film as a producer.

The movie revolves around a doted sister who will go to any lengths and extents to protect her younger brother from foreign jail. The trailer depicts Vedang Raina facing allegations of drug carrying or consumption in a foreign land.
