As soon as the Merry Christmas poster went up, it piqued the audience`s interest. Katrina and Vijay can be seen with a serious look. The movie`s poster gives off vintage Bombay vibes. Reportedly, the crime thriller revolves around an uneventful day that turns the lead actors` lives upside down.
It is about an event that takes place on Christmas Eve. The actors shared posters of their Instagram handles in Hindi and Tamil. The tagline on the Merry Christmas poster read, "Raat jitni sageen hogi, subah utni rageen hogi."
Taking it to Instagram, Katrina Kaif`s post read, "We decided to cut short the wait for the Christmas cheer! Merry Christmas is releasing in theaters near you ON December 15, 2023."
The Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles. Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas will release on December 15, 2023.
