The tension reportedly ignited after Ram`s comments about intimate scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain didn`t sit well with Ekta. Now, Ram Kapoor has finally broken his silence on the matter, choosing a path of dignified silence and immense gratitude.
Tensions further escalated when Ram`s wife, actress Gautami Kapoor, appeared to subtly jab at Ekta Kapoor in her response, particularly concerning comments about Ram`s recent weight loss. Ekta had also shared a video joking about weight loss and body image, referencing the show title: "Hum bade hi acche lagte hain."

Ram also clarified his wife Gautami`s cryptic post, describing it as "all in good fun" and "playful banter." He emphasised, "My wife knows where I stand. It was all in good fun...You cannot forget what someone has done for you."
