Ram Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor
The entertainment industry has been buzzing with speculation surrounding a rumoured rift between actor Ram Kapoor and producer Ekta Kapoor, a duo known for delivering iconic shows like Kasamh Se and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. The tension reportedly ignited after Ram`s comments about intimate scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain didn`t sit well with Ekta. Now, Ram Kapoor has finally broken his silence on the matter, choosing a path of dignified silence and immense gratitude.
Tensions further escalated when Ram`s wife, actress Gautami Kapoor, appeared to subtly jab at Ekta Kapoor in her response, particularly concerning comments about Ram`s recent weight loss. Ekta had also shared a video joking about weight loss and body image, referencing the show title: "Hum bade hi acche lagte hain."

The Genesis of the Rift
The conflict seemingly began when Ram Kapoor hinted in an interview that Ekta had to face consequences due to the romantic scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. This prompted a strong reaction from Ekta, who indirectly, without naming him, referred to "unprofessional actors" in an Instagram post, stating, "Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence."Tensions further escalated when Ram`s wife, actress Gautami Kapoor, appeared to subtly jab at Ekta Kapoor in her response, particularly concerning comments about Ram`s recent weight loss. Ram Kapoor`s Stance
In a recent interview, Ram Kapoor addressed the much-discussed fallout with producer Ekta Kapoor. He chose not to fuel the fire, opting for silence instead of publicly discussing the rift, and refrained from making any negative comments about her. He stated, “She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career.”Ram also clarified his wife Gautami`s cryptic post, describing it as "all in good fun" and "playful banter."
