Family Man 3 actor Rohit Basfore found dead
Rohit Basfore, best known for his role in Manoj Bajpayee`s Family Man 3, was found dead on April 27 in Guwahati. The actor starred in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series. As per Guwahati Plus, his body was found near the Garbhanga Waterfalls on Sunday afternoon.
Rohit went for a picnic with nine of his friends, where he accidentally fell into the waterfall. Rani Police Outpost officials said the incident took place around 2:00 pm.
As per reports, Rohit Basfore returned to Guwahati from Mumbai a few months prior. He left home at 12:30 pm to go out with his friends on Sunday, according to his family, who couldn`t reach him later.

The actor`s friend informed the heartbreaking news to his family a few hours later. He was declared dead while being taken to the hospital.
However, the Family Man 3 actor`s family claims Rohit`s death was a murder. His family informed the police that he was recently given a death threat after he got involved in a heated parking argument. He was threatened by three people, namely Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore and Dharam Basfore.
Rohit Basfore`s family has also accused the gym owner, Amardeep, who invited him for an outing.
Guwahati police reveals details on Rohit Basfore`s death
A police official spoke to Guwahati Plus and said, "We received the report around 4 PM and reached the spot by 4.30 PM. The SDRF team later recovered the body around 6.30 pm."
As per the initial investigation, the late actor "accidentally fell into the waterfall". The local police have not suspected any foul play in the incident so far. The nearby hospital has received Rohit`s body for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is going underway.
The police confirmed several injuries on his body and revealed, "An autopsy was performed at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Multiple injuries were discovered on the body, including wounds on his head, face, and other parts. We are investigating the case, but the four accused are on the run."
Rohit Basfore`s career
The late actor has been acting ever since he was 14 years old. He has worked in several movies and shows, including Family Man season 3. Since last year, he has been sharing snippets from the sets of Family Man.
His photos with Jaideep Ahlawat and Dalip Tahil garnered several eyeballs. He shared the same in November 2024 and wrote, “Lucky to have such a great experience.”

Manoj Bajpayee, who headlines the thriller drama series, took to X (formerly Twitter) and expressed his grief. He tweeted, "May God bless your soul with peace, Rohit Basfore!! Gone too soon! Our condolences to the family!! Om Shanti!!!"
