In a recent interview, the filmmaker opened up about the viral scene starring Rashmika Mandanna and revealed why she is speaking with clenched jaws. He somehow anticipated the mixed response that the scene has been receiving.

"Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to speak in a particular way because it is a very emotional scene. I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense,' Vanga said.

In a scene from the Animal trailer, the actress, with her teeth clenched tightly, says to Ranbir, "I really wish he had died that day." Many internet users appreciated the emotion but claimed the dialogue delivery wasn't clear.

In one of the promotional events, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his character and how he behaves instinctively. For those who haven't seen the trailer, the actor has a rugged look with a dense beard and long hair.

His character is obsessed with his father, Anil Kapoor, and tries every trick to impress him. The obsession soon turns into violence, and the rest is yet to unfold.

Talking about the title of the film, Ranbir said, 'Once you see the film, you will understand. I think the reason why Sandeep Reddy Vanga called this film Animal is because animals behave out of instinct. They don't behave out of thought.'
