Sobhita Dhulipala Turns Heads at The Cannes Film Festival 2024 in a Purple Jumpsuit
The Cannes Film Festival kicked off this month on the 13th in France. With the top names of the film industry attending the prestigious event from all around the world, several Indian celebrities are also turning heads at the French Riviera. Actresses like Aishwarya Rai and Urvashi Rautela have already walked the Cannes red carpet, while Heermandi’s Aditi Rao Hydari is also set to grace the event soon. On Thursday, Prime Video’s Made in Heaven star Sobhita Dhulipala walked the 2024 Cannes red carpet in a stylish purple jumpsuit.
Sobhita attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival to represent one of the leading ice cream brands in India, Magnum. She attended the party hosted by the brand along with American artist Troye Sivan and British music producer Mura Masa. For the ‘Welcome to the Pleasure Express’ event, Sobhita wore the Cordelia Jumpsuit designed by Namrata Joshipura. According to the designer’s website, the suit costs a whopping 1.8 lakh!

The suit came in a deep purple colour, with shimmery sequins covering the entire dress. The suit features a plunging neckline and long, flowy sleeves. Notably, this same dress was worn by Athiya Shetty at Lakme Fashion Week 2023. Athiya walked the ramp as a showstopper for Namrata Joshipura. To complete the look, Sobhita added soft curls and highlighted her eyes with dramatic makeup.
Back in 2016, the actress walked the Cannes red carpet for the promotion of Raman Raghav 2.0, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vicky Kaushal. For the event, Sobhita Dhulipala wore a beige formal suit designed by Neena Gupta’s daughter, Masaba Gupta. She paired the suit with a turtleneck top, matching flared pants, and a pair of daring red pumps. Her Cannes 2016 look exuded elegance and sophistication.
