Sonu Nigam Pune Concert
Renowned singer Sonu Nigam faced an immense challenge during his recent concert in Pune. Just before the show, he suffered from excruciating back pain but refused to let it affect his performance. In the video, Sonu Nigam can be seen lying in bed, speaking to the camera about his condition. His expressions reveal the intense pain he was experiencing. His team members tried to help him alleviate the pain, but he continued to wince as they assisted him. The singer was also seen stepping down from the stage with the help of others. Determined to push through, he stretched and attempted to fix his discomfort before going on stage.
The pain, which began just before the concert, did not deter him from giving his best. In the video, he is even seen dancing while performing, although he later admitted that his movements might have worsened his condition.
In the video, Sonu shared his thoughts, saying, “One of the most difficult days of my life but very fulfilling. I was thinking gaate gaate jhatka dete hai na (While singing we dance), that can also trigger the spasm. But I managed somehow. I never want to do less or give less when people expect so much from me. Ho gaya acha (It went well) I`m glad. This shaped up fine. But excruciating, excruciating pain. Laga tha jaese ek needle mere spine mein laga rakhi hai. Itna sa yaha waha ho aur needle spine mein ghus jayegi (I felt as if a needle was pricking my spine. I would move a little and the needle would enter my spine). It was like that. Really bad.”
He captioned the post, "Sarasvati ji did hold my hand last night (folded hands emoji)."
