For the uninitiated, the television actress, who played the role of Roshan in
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, had accused the producer of sexually harassing her. She also pointed out that Asit Kumarr Modi hadn't paid her long-pending dues, amounting to around 25-30 lakhs.
Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal's video went viral on the internet, where she can be seen demanding justice and threatening to take legal action against him. Additionally, she also took legal action against producers Sohil Ramani and Jatin Ramani.
Now, this controversial case has taken a new turn as the judgment was ruled out in favor of Jennifer.

According to the Times of India, the television actress took help from the government of Maharashtra. When the Local Complaints Committee took over the matter, Asit Kumarr was found guilty under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act of 2013.
While talking to Etimes, Jennifer said orders have been issued asking the producer to clear her dues and pay an additional charge of Rs 5 lakh for holding back her rightful compensation.

She also revealed that the judgment was announced a month ago, on February 15. However, Jennifer was asked not to share anything regarding the same.
Despite the judgment ruling in her favor,
the TMKOC actress expressed her disappointment and mentioned how Asit Modi had not been punished even though he was found guilty.
For the uninitiated, Bansiwal had accused the producers of sexual harassment as they passed inappropriate comments on her. The makers later replaced Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal with Monaz Mevawalla for the role of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi.
This is not the first time Asit Kumarr Modi has been accused of his incompetent and questionable behavior. It all started with Shailesh Lodha, the actor who played Taarak Mehta in the TV serial, who accused the producer of delay in the payment.
Joining him was another Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress,
Priya Ahuja, who opened up about unfair treatment and sexist comments being passed on the sets.
