Yash`s Toxic postponed amid Israel-Iran conflict
Amid the ongoing conflicts in West Asia, the Iran vs Israel war has taken a toll on Yash`s upcoming film. Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups has been pushed amid the warlike situation in the Middle East. The film won`t compete with Ranveer Singh`s Dhurandhar 2.
Yash`s action drama will now arrive in theatres on June 4, instead of March 19. This gives Aditya Dhar`s spy espionage sequel a dominating hand, as it will fly solo on the big screen.
Audiences were waiting with bated breath for the Kannada action drama. However, the makers of the film took to social media and shared the announcement.
Toxic gets a new release date
Weeks before the film could hit the theatres, Yash took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared the shocking update. In the post, he even shared the new release date for his film.
He wrote, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups – in Cinemas Worldwide on 4 June 2026."
The note began with, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups is a film we conceptualised with the vision to create cinema for a global audience. Filmed in Kannada and English, it is built with the conviction to connect with viewers both at home and across the world. After years of dedicated labour, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March."

Further explaining the reason for the delay, the makers added, "However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience. Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audience, we have made the difficult but carefully considered decision to reschedule our release."
The makers of Toxic concluded, "We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to your continued love and support. Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups will now be released in cinemas across the globe in English and Indian languages on 4th June 2026. See you at the movies."
Audiences had been eagerly waiting to see a massive clash between Toxic and Dhurandhar 2 on March 19. Now, the Ranveer Singh starrer will see a solo release on the same date.
