The 96th Oscar Awards 2024 have been quaking and stirring up the internet. The
full list of winners includes some of the most prominent and deserving names. One of them is Oppenheimer star Cilian Murphy, who won his first ever Academy Award for his exceptional performance in the film.
Oppenheimer was a Christopher Nolan blockbuster that revolved around the American mastermind behind developing the world's deadliest nuclear bomb, which was dropped on Japan's Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The filmmaker also won an Oscar for Best Director.

Cillian Murphy won his first Oscar, Bollywood actress Yami Gautam cheered for him while taking a dig at 'fake filmy awards.' The Article 370 actress called him an extraordinary actor and praised the Hollywood star for his resilience.

Taking it to X (formerly known as Twitter), the actress called current filmy awards fake, sharing that's the reason why she stopped attending such events since the last few years.

While Oppenheimer won the Best Picture Award, the biopic also got the Best Supporting Actor Award for Robert Downey Jr., who played a key role in the film.

Yami Gautam is currently soaring high on the success of her latest release,
Article 370, where she essayed the role of an undercover agent, Zooni Haksar. The movie revolves around the eradication of Article 370 and its aftermath in the valleys of Jammu and Kashmir.
The political drama was helmed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, and it also featured Priya Mani and Arun Govil in key roles. The film has earned around 63 crore in India.
On the personal front, Yami and her husband, Aditya Dhar, are all set to
embrace parenthood this year. The couple tied the knot in 2021 in an intimate ceremony in Himachal Pradesh.
With the Vicky Donor actress in her second trimester, the duo will welcome their first child in 2024.
