Yami Gautam to make a special appearance in Dhurandhar 2
The excitement for Dhurandhar 2 has peaked, especially after the teaser of the sequel was released earlier this week. With Ranveer Singh reprising his role as Hamza Ali Mazari, reports of some interesting cameos are doing the rounds.
After the monstrous success of the first part, fans are expecting the sequel to be bigger, better, and bolder. Now, reports of Yami Gautam playing a cameo in Aditya Dhar`s spy espionage drama have increased the intrigue.
For the uninitiated, the actress played a leading role in Dhar`s directorial debut, URI: The Surgical Strike. Her character in the film might have connections to her cameo in her husband`s upcoming project.
Yami Gautam`s cameo in Dhurandhar 2
Yami – along with some of her family members, including her younger brother, Ojas Gautam – have been closely associated with the project. She was also seen visiting the sets during the shoot.

According to reports by NDTV, Gautam plays a crucial role in Dhurandhar 2 and has shot for four days for her cameo. Her character adds depth to carry the narrative significantly ahead.
The sequel, titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, brings back a stellar ensemble of Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, and Rakesh Bedi.
Akshaye Khanna, whose character Rehman Dakait died in the first part, is also reported to make a comeback in flashback sequences.
The Dhurandhar-URI connection
Reports of Dhurandhar 2 having a link to URI: The Surgical Strike have been doing the rounds ever since the post credits of the first part, where Ranveer Singh`s real identity was revealed.
His journey from Jaskirat Singh Rangi to Hamza Ali Mazari will become the base for the upcoming sequel.
Reports of Vicky Kaushal doing a cameo in Dhurandhar 2 are also surfacing. However, the makers are yet to confirm both Yami Gautam`s and Vicky`s roles.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge will see a theatrical release on March 19.
