Ruhfikra, an indie singer-songwriter, chose his artist name from Arabic words that mean "soul" and "thought." He was born and raised in the United Arab Emirates to Indian parents, and this diverse background is reflected in his music. Ruhfikra`s musical journey began at a young age when he started recreating Hindi lyrics into English-based songs and recording them as mixtapes. His debut single, "Ruhfikra," gained over 3 lakh views on YouTube. While working a regular job as a demand analyst during the day, Ruhfikra dedicates his nights to creating music, which he considers a sanctuary for his creative expression.
