Neel Adhikari: The Musician Known To Bring Out `Little Things` In Every Indie Note

Independent music has garnered listeneres and music-buffs over the past two years. Since the Covid-19 pandemic kicked in, it gave independent music space more exposure, more talent, and every artist was recognized by their songs. However, one such multi-talented artist who has imprinted the OTT space by creating music that speaks to our souls. Neel Adhikari, known for creating and designing music for popular OTT series such as Little Things, Ludo, Feels Like Ishq, Hasmukh, Afsos, and many more, is now coming up with his own album.
Early on in his childhood, Adhikari realized his calling is music. The first ever song he sang at an inter-school competition was his original composition. From that very moment, doing cover songs was never on the cards. After becoming a prominent voice in Kolkata, he was drawn to Mumbai to do something remarkable with his talent. Shifting to the city of dreams was a bold move for him.
Soon, he was discovered by Pocket Aces - a digital video property for Indian millennials. That`s how his musical journey for the web series Little Things began.
From delivering hits like I Forgive You, Okay, We, and more for the popular Netflix web series, Neel became a sound of OTT by making more music for various series on different streaming platforms. That`s not all - the musician composed and crafted music for filsm like Why Cheat India, Kia and Cosmos, Shaheb Bibi Gholam, and more. He even bagged a Filmfare award for Shaheb Bibi Gholam.
After being a prominent musician in the industry, Neel is now focusing on releasing his own album. Being an expert in stop-motion, the videos of his albums are a delight for the sore eyes. Neel got candid with Radio City Indie and spoke in length about his journey in music, how fatherhood has changed him, embracing Mumbai and the cut-throat competition in the industry, how indie space has evolved, and his favorite indie artists.
