Prakti captures the excitement of falling and staying in love in latest EP Feel Butter

Delhi based singer songwriter Prakti aka Prakriti Nanda has released her second EP titled Feel Butter. The 4 track EP (including a repreised version) is themed around romantic love, capturing the incredibly exciting and perplexing feelings of falling and staying in love. Produced by Amartya Ghosh at Quarter Note Studios, this is her brightest and boldest work so far. The writing is unapologetic, the sound distinct and couple that with Prakti`s strong vocals, you have a winner.
Prakriti Nanda a.k.a Prakti is a queer musician based in Delhi who loves writing highly sensitive and emotionally charged music. Her sincere, honest and intimate songwriting is based around the guitar and has expressive lyrical vocals which encourage listeners to confront their feelings. Her style is eclectic and is a perfect amalgamation of pop, rhythm & blues and Jazz. As a performer, Prakti has a charming presence on stage and she loves to engage her audience through the stories behind her songs. Her expressive songwriting in her debut EP ‘Why Don’t you Speak’ (2019) and singles ‘Words’ (2020) and ‘Saavan’ (2021) has been applauded by platforms such as Wild City, The Indian Music Diaries, Maed in India, Rolling Stone India and many more. Prakti has played original music sets at some notable venues around the capital such as the American Embassy New Delhi, Piano Man Jazz Clubs, The Quorum and Indie music events by Spacessions and House Concert.
