She is married to actor Mukul Chadda. The two acted in a short film titled ‘Banana Bread’ for Terribly Tiny Talkies during the lockdown, following the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020.

She made her film debut in the 2008 release ‘Tahaan’ as Nadira, a young bride to Zafar, played by Rahul Bose. The film was directed by Santosh Sivan and was awarded the UNICEF Award at 11th Olympia International Film Festival for Children.
Rasika made a brief appearance in the 2007 release, ‘Anwar’ where she played Deepti, the love interest to Vijay Raaz’s character.
