Singer songwriter Gaurav Tophakhane liberates the heartbroken with Kahaani

Once the frontman of Pune prog/alt rock band Skylight Vision and a freelance photographer widely known in the city's indie circuit, singer/songwriter Gaurav Topakhane has released his latest single, 'Kahaani', close on the heels of his last release, 'Dheere Se'.

'Kahaani' is a bitter-sweet lingering of a heartbreak with influences largely sourced from old indie-pop tracks of the 90s. Deploying the use of whistles, the song makes the listener ponder upon the sadness of a fragile moment, but with a spirited smile.

Written by Tophakhane and Vicky Hajeri, the song has been produced by Ashish Kujur, recorded, mixed and mastered at Gray Spark Audio, Pune. The artwork which depicts loneliness and longing has been designed by Pooja Sreenivasan.
