Sam Bahadur Teaser Out: Vicky Kaushal’s Transformation Into Sam Manekshaw Will Leave You Curious

The first teaser of Meghna Gulzar's "Sam Bahadur" has just been dropped after much hype and anticipation. The biopic will show Vicky Kaushal portraying the character of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film will also star Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.

Vicky Kaushal dropped the teaser of his upcoming film through a video on his Instagram account. He also announced the release date of his upcoming film along with the post. The actorevealed that the movie will hit the theatres on December 1, 2023. And the video he uploaded showcases a battalion of army officers parting to make way for Sam Bahadur.

Along with the teaser, Vicky wrote, '365 days to go... #Samin cinemas 1.12.2023'


Talking about the character, Sam Manekshaw was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.He was the chief of the Indian Army in 1971 when India fought the Bangladesh Liberation War with Pakistan.

Earlier, Meghna also shared a video on her Instagram handle as she started filming on Sam Bahadur and thanked the Indian Army for their love and support.
