Deepika Padukone calls her daughter, Dua, her obsession
Apart from being an incredible actress, Deepika Padukone is also a doting mother who is head-over-heels in love with her daughter. The actress welcomed her first child, Dua Padukone Singh, with Ranveer Singh in 2024.
In her recent interview, the Piku actress revealed her current obsession and her response has the internet gushing. When asked about her current obsession, Deepika said, “Not current – I’m going to remove ‘current’ from it. My obsession is my daughter.”
She also went on to reveal some absurdly funny revelations about Dua, reflecting on the adorable mother-daughter bond.
When asked what the weirdest thing in her bag was right now, Padukone said it was a piece of thepla that her daughter had been eating, which accidentally fell in her bag.

She further revealed her current favorite karaoke song is now a nursery rhyme - Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

In the same interview with Harper`s Bazaar, the Padmaavat actress was also asked about the phrase she`s been using a lot these days. To which, she answered, “In a good way, I’ve been saying ‘I love you’ a lot to my baby.”
She also reflected on if not an actor, she`d have been an interior designer. However, her husband and actor Ranveer Singh thinks she would`ve made a good lawyer.
Fans were quick enough to notice the sparkle in her eyes whenever Deepika Padukone spoke about her one-year-old. Some even took to the comments section and praised how motherhood makes her happiest.
