Kangana Ranaut to Make Her Hollywood Debut With Horror Film Blessed Be The Evil

Bollywood`s powerhouse and National Award-winning actress, Kangana Ranaut, is taking a giant leap across continents. After nearly two decades of captivating Indian audiences, the star of "Queen" and "Emergency" is set to make her much-anticipated Hollywood debut in the horror drama "Blessed Be The Evil".
"Blessed Be The Evil" plunges into the terrifying experiences of a Christian couple. Following a devastating miscarriage, they relocate to an abandoned farm, a place burdened by a dark and unsettling past. As they endeavour to rebuild their lives, their love and faith are put to the ultimate test by a malevolent presence that lurks within their new home.
Production for this chilling tale is scheduled to commence this summer in New York. The producers have specifically chosen U.S. locations to avoid running into any uncertainties stemming from the recently announced Trump industry tariffs.

Joining Kangana Ranaut are talented actors Tyler Posey, widely recognised from "Teen Wolf" and the horror film "Truth or Dare", and Scarlet Rose Stallone, daughter of Sylvester Stallone, who has appeared in "Tulsa King" and "The Gunslingers".
Director Anurag Rudra shared his personal connection to the story`s origins: "Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that got embedded in my mind and heart." He elaborated, "This folklore was so special that I truly believed in all the stories and wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema – the strongest and most beautiful way to connect to dreams and reality."
Gatha Tiwary added, "A story like Blessed Be The Evil is very rare. Lions Movies has developed a spine-chilling narrative with unprecedented suspense and drama. It also has great potential for international markets, both in streaming and selling." The project is set to be presented to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.
Kangana Ranaut brings immense credibility and star power to the project. With four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards to her name, she is also a filmmaker and a recently elected Member of Parliament in India`s Lok Sabha. Her recent directorial venture, "Emergency", where she portrayed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, saw a worldwide theatrical release earlier this year, further cementing her versatile talents. The Creative Force and Stellar Cast
