Animal has been hit with controversy ever since it was released in theaters. Its problematic portrayal of women has irked many who have called it out online for how the film is derogatory towards women.

As if that wasn't enough, now Bobby Deol has made a shocking revelation about the film. He said that there was initially a kissing scene between him and Ranbir Kapoor in the film.

During a recent interview, Bobby Deol revealed what Sandeep Reddy Vanga explained about the two characters to him. He said, "There are these two brothers they want to kill each other, but there's a love that they have for each other. I am going to shoot the climax sequence with a song playing in the background, which is about love."

Bobby confirmed that there was a kissing scene between the two, but it was deleted. He also speculated that it may come in the uncut version of the film on Netflix. He added, "He (Sandeep Reddy Vanga) said, 'You're fighting, and you suddenly kiss him (Ranbir Kapoor), and then you don't give up, and he kills you'. But he removed the kiss. There was a kiss. I think it might come on the uncut Netflix version. After saying all this, he said, 'You're mute'."

In the climactic scene, Bobby Deol and Ranbir Kapoor engage in an intense fight scene as a love song plays in the background. There comes a point later in the scene where Bobby is lying on Ranbir Kapoor's back.

During the scene, Sandeep came up to Bobby Deol and said, "You know what, Bobby? I want you to punch him and lie on top of him." His motive behind having such a scene was to show Bobby's character as having more power.

Further, Bobby said, "Obviously, the hero always wins in the end. And the shot of me unzipping was his idea. He brings that alpha thing to every character."

This is a really spicy revelation made by Bobby. It will spur further debate about the film if the kissing scene between Ranbir and Bobby Deol is retained in the Netflix version of the film. It remains to be seen if that happens to be the case.
