Meghana Raj was born on May 3, 1990, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. She is the only child of veteran Kannada actors Sundar Raj and Pramila Joshai, both well-known personalities in the regional film industry!

Meghana Raj began her acting journey with the 2009 Telugu film Bendu Apparao R.M.P. She went on to establish herself across multiple film industries, featuring in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu movies. Some of her notable performances include Beautiful (2011), Memories (2013), and Raja Huli (2013)

Meghana Raj has been recognized for her talent with several prestigious awards. She won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress for her powerful performance in Iruvudellava Bittu (2018).
