November is filled with entertainment, and the Indian film industry is making sure to confuse you with which movie to watch as there are going to be some serious box office clashes. This month started with yet another huge clash between Kartik Aaryans Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Ajay Devgns Singham 3. As these blockbusters release today, lets have a look at the biggest box office clashes in the history of Bollywood.
1. Lagaan vs Gadar
You can call this the clash of Bollywood's titans, with Aamir Khan on one side and Sunny Deol on the other. It was perhaps one of the most memorable box-office clashes. While Gadar led on the box office by an edge, Lagaan walked away with international recognition, critical acclaim, and an Oscar nomination. Both movies were beyond spectacular and delivered the spirit of patriotism at its best.
2. Raees vs Kaabil
Once again, it was a war of two superheroes: Shah Rukh Khan's Raees vs. Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. While both movies performed well at the box office, Raees saw a higher collection, primarily due to SRK's fanbase.3. Dilwale vs Bajirao Mastani
It all came down to which couple ruled the hearts of Bollywood fans. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, or Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, was a tough choice.Despite the iconic Bollywood pair headlining Dilwale, it was Bajirao Mastani who enjoyed a higher box office win. Along with the power couple, the period drama also featured Priyanka Chopra in the titular role.
4. Zero vs KGF
It was not just Bollywood; this box office clash was between two industries. Zero had big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif associated with it. Despite this, the critics and trade analysts were proven wrong by a pan-Indian film.KGF: Chapter 1 saw a monstrous success with South superstar Yash headlining the film. The movie also starred Srinidhi, Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, and Prakash Raj in prominent roles.
While Zero received disastrous reviews, KGF saw a sequel to the first installment, which was yet another massive blockbuster.
5. Animal vs Sam Bahadur
The two latest releases took the box office by storm with some power-packed performances by Ranbir Kapoor in Animal and Vicky Kaushal in Sam Bahadur. While one is an action drama filled with violence and emotions, the latter is based on the real-life story of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw, and the way he changed the face of the Indian army.
After Lagaan and Gadar, this one would be yet another iconic box office clash in the history of Bollywood.
