Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh have come together once again, this time for the song 'Chal Kudiye' from the much-anticipated film Jigra. The duo last collaborated in 2016 for the hit song 'Ikk Kudi' from Udta Punjab. Now, eight years later, they've reunited for a powerful anthem that celebrates the resilience of women. The track is more than just a musical reunion it's a tribute to courage, strength, and hope.
Chal Kudiye Out: Diljit Dosanjh's Tribute to Alia's Spirit
In the song 'Chal Kudiye,' Diljit Dosanjh pays tribute to the indomitable spirit of Alia Bhatt's character. The movie follows Alia's journey as she battles against all odds to protect her younger brother, played by Vedang Raina, who is incarcerated. Diljit's vocals highlight the struggles that women face while also urging them to rise above challenges and fight for justice.The song's music video, which runs for two minutes and 58 seconds, is sung by both Alia and Diljit. Written by Harmanjeet Singh and composed by Manpreet Singh, it opens with a heartfelt voiceover by Alia, vowing to safeguard her brother. Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share the song with her fans, captioning it, '#ChalKudiye OUT NOW! #Jigra in cinemas, 11th October.'

Jigra is Alia Bhatt's third project under her home banner, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Directed by Vasan Bala, known for thrillers like Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota (2018) and Monica, O My Darling (2022), the film is one of the most anticipated releases of 2024. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, and Shaheen Bhatt, the movie was initially slated for release on September 27 but was pushed to October 11 to avoid a box-office clash with Telugu star Jr. NTR's Devara.Jigra marks a unique collaboration between Alia and Vasan Bala, and with 'Chal Kudiye' already creating a buzz, the film promises to deliver both heart and action.
