The grand finale of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 concluded with Suraj Chavan lifting the winner's trophy and taking home a cash prize of Rs 14.6 lakh. Hosted by actor Riteish Deshmukh, the finale aired on Colors Marathi and featured a nail-biting finish. The season, which was full of drama, intense moments, and strong performances, saw Suraj claim the top spot, while popular Indian Idol singer Abhijeet Sawant secured the runner-up position.


Suraj Chavan Emerges Victorious

Suraj Chavan, known for his strategic gameplay and emotional strength throughout the season, was crowned the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi 5. Along with the coveted trophy, Suraj received Rs 14.6 lakh as his cash prize, a Rs 10 lakh jewellery voucher, and a two-wheeler vehicle. His journey in the house was marked by resilience and smart decision-making, which clearly resonated with the audience and helped him secure the win.

Abhijeet Sawant and the Top Contenders

Singer Abhijeet Sawant, who is well-known as the winner of the first season of Indian Idol, finished second. His fan base had high hopes for him to win, but despite a strong performance throughout the show, he fell just short of the top prize.

The third position was taken by Nikki Tamboli, another fierce competitor. Dhananjay Powar, who made a significant impact with his candid personality, secured fourth place, while Ankita Walawalkar rounded off the top five. All these contestants played crucial roles throughout the season, providing intense moments that kept viewers glued to their screens.

In a twist during the finale, contestant Janhavi Killekar faced a surprise eviction. She chose to leave the house by accepting a cash prize of 9 lakh, making for a dramatic exit that shocked both the contestants and the audience.
