Bollywood superstar Salman Khan faces yet another threat, this time over a song that allegedly references him alongside jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This latest threat, received by Mumbai's traffic control room, is directed not at Salman directly but at the songwriter responsible for penning the track. The incident comes amid a series of threats that have targeted Salman over the past several months, raising safety concerns for the actor and those associated with him.
Threat Message Details and Latest Developments
The threat, received around midnight on Thursday, warned that the songwriter would face severe repercussions within a month. The message ominously declared, 'The songwriter's condition will be such that he will no longer be able to write songs. If Salman Khan has the courage, he should save them.'The message points to a disturbing pattern of intimidation aimed at those connected to Salman Khan, especially since previous threats had referenced grievances held by Lawrence Bishnoi's community over a blackbuck poaching case involving the actor from 1998.

Arrests Made in Connection to Threats
In a significant development, police detained a 32-year-old man named Bhikha Ram, also known as Vikram, in Karnataka's Haveri in relation to prior threats made against Salman Khan. Bhikha Ram, reportedly an admirer of Bishnoi, was transferred to Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) after his arrest. He confessed his admiration for Bishnoi, whom he considers his "idol." Reports revealed that he planned to use a 5-crore ransom demand to build a temple for the Bishnoi community. In one of his threat messages, he warned, "If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our temple and apologise or pay 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him our gang is still active."
Initially, the sender of these messages claimed he was Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, fueling the narrative of direct involvement by Bishnoi's allies.

Shah Rukh Khan Receives Death Threats
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also recently received death threats, marking yet another high-profile case under investigation by the Mumbai police. This threat included a demand for Rs 50 lakh and was traced to a phone registered to Raipur-based lawyer Faizan Khan. The lawyer previously raised objections against Shah Rukh Khan over a dialogue in the 1994 film Anjaam, which referenced deer huntingmdasha sensitive subject for the Bishnoi community. During his interrogation, Faizan explained, 'I hail from Rajasthan. The Bishnoi community (which is from Rajasthan) is my friend. It is in their religion to protect deer. So, if a Muslim says something like this about deer, it is condemnable. Therefore, I raised an objection.'
Faizan claimed his phone had been stolen, alleging the call was part of a plot to implicate him falsely. However, this incident brings more attention to the Bishnoi community's sensitivities and Lawrence Bishnoi's continued involvement in orchestrating threats from behind bars.
