Taapsee Pannu Hints On A Part 3 Of Haseen Dillruba: "Woh Baar Baar Aati Rahegi"

One of the most anticipated OTT releases of this year, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, has already kept fans waiting with baited breath. The internet was set ablaze after the makers released its trailer, hinting at yet another thriller mystery starring Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Sunny Kaushal.

For the uninitiated, the first installment of the film was highly lauded and received well by the viewers. It was a Netflix release that became one of the most-watched movies of 2021.

As the cast of Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba gears up for its release on August 9, Taapsee Pannu reveals whether there's going to be a third part of the romantic thriller.

Taapsee Pannu hints at Haseen Dillruba 3

The actress, who is busy promoting her two upcoming films, including Khel Khel Mein with Akshay Kumar, will be a delight to watch reprising her role as Rani Saxena. The second part of the romantic thriller promises all the more twists and turns.

In a recent interview, Taapsee was asked if there will be a third part to the Haseen Dillruba franchise. To which she said she isn't that well-read like her co-stars Vikrant Massey or Sunny Kaushal. Having said that, she has given the book Malice to Kanika Dhillon, who happens to be the writer of both the films.

"Hopefully, Haseen Dillruba baar baar aati rahegi and kabhi jaaye hi na (Haseen Dillruba will keep coming and never go). You'll see a lot of collaborations between me and Kanika in the future as well. Now we're thinking of so many things that we can do together," the Thappad actress said.

It is interesting to note that this marks Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon's fifth collaboration after Manmarziyaan, Haseen Dillruba, Rashmi Rocket, and Dunki.

In addition to this, she heaped praise for Dhillon's craft of creating fictional women who are often in a gray space. These kinds of roles highly resonate with Taapsee. After working with the writer for over five films, the Manmarziyaan actress has now realized Kanika can make her do anything.

"She writes my kind of relatable women so well. These are the women who'll make mistakes but will own up to them and will be honest about the fact that they did something wrong," Taapsee Pannu further added.

The second installment of the much-successful romantic thriller will be headlined by Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, and Sunny Kaushal. The film will also star Jimmy Shergill in a pivotal role.

Helmed by Jayprad Desai, Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba will stream on Netflix from August 9.
