Headlining the festival, brought to India by BookMyShow, is legendary English musician Sting (no doubt iconic on his own butFriendsfans may remember him from that one episode where Phoebe scrambles to get tickets to his show) and the reunitedJonas Brothers. They are joined by indie-pop darling Halsey, American pop band OneRepublic (ready to scream along to 'Apologize' and 'Counting Stars'?) and American singer and songwriter Lauv (experience the rush of your first crush all over again as you sing along to 'I Like Me Better').

Fans of high-energy electronic music can expect to stomp to the groovy tunes of Jungle, Meduza and Malaa. For rock enthusiasts,Korean indie band The Rose is set to take the stage by storm, along with English bands Keane and Royal Blood. But all is not international: Lollapalooza India 2024 also includes iconic Indian musicians such as When Chai Met Toast,Parekh amp Singhand Anoushka Shankar.

Originating in Chicago, Lollapalooza is among the largest music festivals in the world, with previous non-American expansions held in Chile, Brazil, France, Germany and elsewhere.

India became the first Asian country to host a Lollapalooza in Mumbai in 2023, drawing over 60,000 attendees.
