Rapper Raja Kumari receives nomination at MTV Europe Music Awards

Rapper Raja Kumari has been nominated for the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards for her song Made In India in the Best Indian act category. The song which released on May 6 this year featured the gorgeous Madhuri Dixit in the music video and celebrates her ethnic background and the original song by Alisha Chinai. Made in India is part of the rapper's EP Head B***h which includes five tracks and features rappers Krsna and Shah Rule. Along with Rajakumari singer composer Armaan Malik has also been nominated in the same category for his song You.
Raja Kumari aka Svetha Rao grew up in the US and made a mark in the Indian music industry with City Slums, her collab with rapper Divine. At the beginning of her career the rapper collaborated as a songwriter with artists like Gwen Stefani, Fifth Harmony and FallOut Boy. She is a trained Indian classical dancer and has always showcased her culture through her music.
