Ajaz Khan`s show House Arrest pulled down
Bigg Boss fame Ajaz Khan has landed in trouble after a clip from his show, House Arrest, has been doing the rounds on the internet. The show was streaming on the Ullu app until it got pulled down today after the actor made female contestants enact sex positions in one of the episodes.
The streaming platform Ullu has taken down the show due to mounting backlash over its explicit content and obscene videos. House Arrest attracted sharp criticism from netizens across social media platforms, with many political leaders and viewers slamming it for promoting vulgarity.
Now, the controversy has escalated further after the National Commission for Women (NCW) issued notices to Ullu CEO Vibhu Agarwal and Ajaz Khan, summoning them to appear before the Commission on May 9, 2025.

The summon follows a viral clip from the show, dated April 29, after the host forces some female contestants to enact sexual positions on camera despite their visible discomfort and verbal lack of consent. Reportedly, the contestants were also asked to undress and perform on-scene scenes on-screen.
When she admits that she hasn`t explored much, Khan points out and asks, "Tumne experiment nahi kiya kabhi? (You`ve never experimented?").
The situation raises more eyebrows after one contestant is asked to direct her female co-participants to mimic various sex positions, which they were forced to do on camera, sparking serious outrage.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) issued a strong statement and called this a vulgar act that violates women`s dignity and sets a damaging precedent in the name of entertainment.
"It disregards the fundamental principles of consent, promotes sexual coercion under the guise of entertainment, and fails to follow any age-appropriate censorship guidelines," the NCW said.
The Commission also highlighted that such acts attract serious penal provisions under the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
The platform has since removed all House Arrest episodes, and an FIR has also been filed against Ajaz Khan.
This House Arrest controversy has also reached Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, who has escalated the issue to the Parliamentary Committee and is awaiting their response.
"I have raised this in the standing committee that apps such as this, namely, Ullu App and Alt Balaji, have managed to escape the ban by the I&B Ministry on apps for obscene content. I am still awaiting their reply," Chaturvedi said in an X (formerly Twitter) post.
