Before that, he starred in the global phenomenon RRR, a film celebrated for winning the National Award for Best Original Song for "Naatu Naatu", making history as "the first song from an Indian film, as well as the first from an Asian film, to win in this category." Impressively, NTR hasn`t seen a box office dip since 2014`s Rabhasa.
Prashanth Neel, meanwhile, directed the blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, which dominated the box office and uniquely became the first Indian film to achieve the feat of being a mainstay on OTT platforms throughout the year. This followed his industry-shaking KGF films, with KGF: Chapter 2 becoming the third highest-grossing Indian film ever.
