Astrologer Predicts War in May 2025
In an era of heightened global uncertainties, a nearly 11-month-old video featuring astrologer Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri has dramatically resurfaced, capturing widespread attention online. The clip, an excerpt from The Ranveer Show Hindi (TRS podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia), highlights a striking prediction: a rare planetary alignment around May 30, 2025, which the astrologer likens to cosmic formations seen during the Mahabharat era, potentially heralding a global war but also a "golden period" for India. This prediction is gaining traction as geopolitical tensions, particularly between India and Pakistan, escalate.
Despite the ominous global outlook, Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri believes the upcoming celestial formation is highly favourable for India. "Toh woh samikaran ban raha hai, aur us samikaran mein at least main yeh keh sakta hoon, ki Bharat ke liye swarnam kaal hai. Bharat bilkul peak pe hai," he asserted, translating to, "So, that equation is forming, and in that equation, at least I can say this is the golden period for India. India is absolutely at its peak."
He pointed out that thinkers like Aurobindo and Vivekananda and even scientist and former President Abdul Kalam had foreseen India`s rise. "Now if you’ve closed your eyes and have a prejudiced mind and don’t even want to see, then only God can help you. I can see these things happening," Swami added, suggesting that signs of this ascendance are already visible.

He further made a bold claim about India`s future global standing: “India will dominate. India is coming to the United Nations with veto power. India is going to have a lead position in the UN very soon.”
According to Swami, nations, much like individuals, have astrological charts and are subject to karmic cycles. He attributed India`s historical periods of decline to karma, stating, “If you ask me what is nectar in this world, I’ll say milk. Milk shouldn’t spoil. Even Ganga water, though it has no expiry date, still develops impurities. Where nature exists, distortion will follow.” He believes societies naturally rise and fall. “When a society, a nation, or a religion reaches the peak, it cannot stay there forever... That journey is the joy.” Now, he confidently states, “India is rising. It won’t rise—it has risen, at least to its knees. If someone can’t see that, that’s a different matter.”

Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri also spoke of India`s spiritual significance, asserting it will continue to be the birthplace of divine souls. “Like Alphonso mangoes grow in Ratnagiri and kiwis in New Zealand, avatars of dharma will take birth in India.” He clarified his interpretation of dharma: “I don’t speak of religiousness or blind belief. I mean the flow of duty—swadharma. The Gita says: ‘Better to follow one’s own duty poorly than another’s well.’” He also quoted Vivekananda, saying, “Dharma has no English translation. This is what Vivekananda said. English is a poor language—it cannot express the word dharma.”
Looking ahead, Swami predicted a global return to goodness within the next 50 to 100 years. “The oxygen ratio is the goodness ratio. Evil exists, but the goodness ratio is now much higher,” he remarked. He also observed that “Dharma is more present today. Purity is greater today.” His message to the people is a call to engage actively: “You have a chance – earn some virtue. What do you need to do? Just take some action. We’ve become sluggish. We’ve stopped acting.”
Pakistan attempted retaliation within 24 hours. A missile attack aimed at Amritsar on May 7 was thwarted by India’s S-400 and Akash air defence systems. On the evening of May 8, Pakistani drones and artillery fire across India`s western border were also intercepted, with Jammu, Kupwara, Rajouri, Baramulla in J&K, Pathankot in Punjab, and Jaisalmer and Ganganagar in Rajasthan experiencing varying degrees of impact. Bordering cities initiated coordinated blackouts as Indian defence systems effectively managed the threat.
As the world watches these developments, Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri’s nearly year-old prediction is resonating deeply, leaving many to ponder the stars, the current situation, and what the future may hold.

The Astrological Alignment: A Mathematical Prediction
Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri, also known as Swami Yo, detailed his prediction in response to a question about the possibility of another world war. He stated, "Grahon ka ek samikaran aa raha hai, 30 May ko, astrologically. Yeh jo 6 grah aapas mein position bana rahe hain, yeh woh position bana rahe hain, jo purva mein, Mahabharat ke samay, ya bade yudh ke samay grah banate hain. Yeh mathematical hai, kisi ke dwara bol dena matra se nahi hota hai, uski formulas hain, you can do it yourself." He emphasised that this isn`t mere opinion but is based on astronomical calculations. "These are formulas. You can do it yourself. It’s not just about someone saying it," he clarified.Despite the ominous global outlook, Swami Yogeshwarananda Giri believes the upcoming celestial formation is highly favourable for India. War as a Cosmic Reset, Not Just Destruction
Swami offers a unique perspective on the potential conflict, viewing it not solely as destruction but as a form of cosmic rebalancing. “War is also a type of yagna. Yagna means sacrifice. Krishna says in Chapter 18 of the Gita: Yagna, daan, and tapas must never be abandoned,” he explained. He believes that when systems stagnate, disruption is necessary. “Everything is frozen. You need to apply heat to melt it. War is a feature of that. But India is receiving protection. India is being protected. From whom? From Mahavatar Babaji.”He further made a bold claim about India`s future global standing: “India will dominate. India is coming to the United Nations with veto power. India is going to have a lead position in the UN very soon.”

Viral Video Gains Traction Amidst Real-World Tensions
The interview, originally recorded 10 months ago, has found a new, eager audience as the predicted May 2025 planetary alignment draws nearer and geopolitical tensions flare. The video`s resurgence coincides with heightened friction between India and Pakistan. Following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which claimed 26 civilian lives and was attributed to Lashkar-e-Taiba`s offshoot The Resistance Front (TRF), India launched "Operation Sindoor" in the early hours of May 7, 2025, targeting nine terror camps across Pakistan.Pakistan attempted retaliation within 24 hours.
