The television actor, who became a household name with serials like Dill Mill Gayye and Qubool Hai, tied the knot with actress Shraddha Nigam. However, the two soon called it quits. He found love for the second time in his co-star, Jennifer Winget; however, that was a short-term marriage that ended up on a rather controversial note.
They say a third time`s a charm, and it worked wonderfully well for Karan Singh Grover as he married Bipasha Basu in 2016. However, amid all the professional success and failures, the actor never spoke about his past.
In an interview, the actor opened up about his two divorces, which ended up becoming the media`s favorite subject to ponder.
He sat down for a candid chat with the Bombay Times, where he recalled his failed marriages with Shraddha Nigam and Jennifer Winget.
"There`s nothing good about a breakup or a divorce. Yeah, later, when people move on, they realize that it happened for the best. That`s a good thing," the Hate Story 3 actor said.

He further added, "But I never felt the need to speak to anyone about the crap that`s happening in my life because I don`t expect people to come and talk to me about the crap that`s happening in their lives. That is not my main motive. I would like to spread some love and joy. Everyone has their own shit to deal with, and I think everyone deserves that kind of privacy to handle their own shit."
For the uninitiated, Karan Singh Grover first married Shraddha Nigam in 2008. Within 10 months of being married, the couple called it quits. Later, he tied the knot with his Dill Mill Gayye co-star, Jennifer Winget, in 2012. They separated in 2014.
The actor then married the Bachna Ae Haseeno actress, Bipasha Basu, in 2016. They welcomed their first child, a daughter whom they named Devi, in 2022.
"She is the kind of person who is in a constant state of giving. Whoever`s in her life stays connected with her. All the heavy, all the negative, the lower vibration stuff just falls," Grover mentioned.

He further said, "I have another profession (he has also started painting) because of her. She helped me understand and connect with me. The real me. I know myself today because of her. The change that has happened is so drastic. From being a nocturnal being to somebody waking up at 5 a.m. and wanting to see every sunrise and every sunset."
