Anant and Radhika Wedding: Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Others Attend Haldi

The much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani, son of India's richest businessman, Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant kicked off this week with a vibrant haldi ceremony. The pre-wedding festivities have already created a buzz, with several celebrities arriving in style and showering the couple with blessings.


Star-Studded Haldi Ceremony Marks the Beginning of Celebrations

The haldi ceremony, a traditional pre-wedding ritual that involves applying a paste of turmeric and other auspicious ingredients on the bride and groom, was a star-studded affair. Guests donned vibrant yellow outfits, adhering to the ceremony's theme. Among the attendees were some of Bollywood's biggest names, including Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday.

Salman Khan, known for his signature style, arrived in an all-black ensemble but later changed into a yellow kurta for the occasion. He even playfully acknowledged the paparazzi's greeting of "Sikandar," hinting at his upcoming film with the same name.



Janhvi Kapoor, radiating elegance in a yellow saree and matching blouse, was seen warmly embracing her father, Boney Kapoor.



Ranveer Singh, never one to shy away from the spotlight, arrived in a vibrant yellow kurta and palazzo pyjamas. He truly embraced the spirit of the ceremony, as evidenced by the generous amount of haldi covering him from head to toe as he exited the function. Waving goodbye to the paparazzi before making a speedy exit, Singh added a touch of lightheartedness to the event.



This isn't the first time Singh and Khan have entertained the Ambani couple. The duo reportedly performed at the couple's sangeet ceremony last weekend. Singh danced to Salman Khan's popular song "Ishq Di Galli Vich" from the film "No Entry," while Khan captivated the audience with his rendition of "Aisa Pehli Baar Hua Hai" along with Anant himself.

A Night of Glamour and Performances

The sangeet ceremony, a night dedicated to music and dance, was a grand affair held at the NMACC centre and reportedly accommodated around 2,000 guests. Adding to the sangeet glamour were Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, who posed together for the paparazzi. While Khan opted for a vibrant multi-coloured crop top and lehenga, Panday chose a delicate light pink gown with a matching dupatta.

The night was further enhanced by the presence of other celebrities, including Manushi Chhillar, Rahul Vaidya, Disha Parmar, Orhan Awatramani (Orry), filmmaker Atlee, and veteran actor Tina Ambani (Anant's aunt). International pop star Justin Bieber performed some of his biggest hits like "Baby," "Never Let You Go," and "Where Are U Now." He was even seen singing the latter song with Orry, adding another layer of excitement to the evening.

The grand wedding awaits

The week-long celebrations are just the beginning of the much-anticipated Anant Radhika wedding. The grand ceremony is scheduled for July 12th at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. Given the scale of the pre-wedding festivities, the wedding itself promises to be a lavish affair. Following the wedding, the couple will celebrate with their loved ones at the Shubh Aashirwad on July 13th and finally conclude the festivities with the Mangal Utsav, or wedding reception, on July 14th.
