Rajveer Deol is the third-generation actor from the Deol family, and he recently made his Bollywood debut with the romantic drama Dono. The film also starred Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma alongside him.
Rajveer recently shared more about his relationship with his father, Sunny Deol, and grandfather, Dharmendra. He said that he wants to work with his father in the future. Apart from that, he also expressed his interest in collaborating with Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon.
The entire Deol family watched Rajveer's film Dono together at a screening. He shared how they reacted upon seeing him on the big screen. He said, "At the screening, my family saw me on the big screen along with other guests and celebrities. It was a happy moment for all of them. Getting love and appreciation from loved ones is surely the best feeling. More so when the family members are themselves reputed figures in the film industry. Rajveer further shared that, apart from giving him warmth, his father Sunny Deol and grandfather Dharmendra are among his harshest critics.
He said, "They can be harsh at times. I have gotten harsh criticism from both of them while growing up. Everyone in my house knows how hard this line is. They don't want to quote it for you. I know people think we might get pampered, but they are the biggest critics because they know how harsh everyone else is."
Further adding about how the criticism from them has helped him, he added, "They are just prepping us for that. You do get upset, but you also need to be mature about it and take a hard look in the mirror to improve yourself and work harder because I genuinely want to be good. To be there, I should be able to take my criticism with grace."
Dono was directed by Sooraj Barjatya's son, Avnish Barjatya, and released on October 5.
