Sydney Sweeney offered a Bollywood film with Rs. 530 crore paycheck
Hollywood diva Sydney Sweeney has carved her niche in the West. After becoming a household name with TV shows like Euphoria and The White Lotus, Sweeney also entertained her fans with some rom-coms like Anyone But You with Glen Powell.
Now, the actress might make her way to India after she received a whopping pay cheque for doing a Bollywood film. Reports suggest she has been offered a role in one of the most expensive Indian movies ever to be made.
The makers, whose names are yet to be revealed, reached out to Sydney with a whopping pay cheque of Rs. 530 crore.
Sydney Sweeney to make her Bollywood debut?
As per a report by Sun, a leading production house has reached out to the Hollywood actress with a 45 million pound deal (approximately 530 crore) to star in one of the most expensive Bollywood films.
“The deal is made up of a 35 million pound (over ₹415 crore) fee alongside 10 million pounds (over ₹115 crore) in sponsorship agreements, with producers hoping Sydney`s star power would help the film reach a wider audience in the international market,” the report stated.

As per the story, the film is about a young American girl star falling in love with an Indian celebrity. The project is expected to go on floors in 2026 and will be shot across New York, Paris, London, and Dubai.
A source close to the development shared the Anyone But You star`s reaction and said, "Sydney was shocked by the offer at first; 45 million pounds is an incredible sum. But the project is intriguing, and it could elevate her global profile even further. The Indian film industry is powerful and growing, and this movie is designed to bring its productions to the international market.”
“Nothing has been decided yet, but it’s a huge opportunity, and Sydney is weighing her options carefully. Money isn’t everything, and she has many projects lined up, but this could push her to new limits as an actress,” added the insider.
On the work front, Sydney Sweeney will next be seen in The Housemaid, alongside Amanda Seyfried.
