Set against the backdrop of the fictional Purvanchal region in India, the crime thriller depicts the descent into chaos that follows the deaths of mafia kingpins Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi) and his son Munna Bhaiya (Divyendu Sharma).

The trailer opens with a bang, literally. We see Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), now a self-proclaimed king, taking a sledgehammer to a statue of the deceased Tripathi.
